Athletics

The Physical Education Department promotes the fundamentals of physical fitness and wellness through age appropriate activities. It teaches our students the importance of a healthy lifestyle by incorporating a comprehensive health education & promotion section.  Sport and physical activity are opportunities to teach life skills such as motivation, communication, teamwork and sportsmanship. Our physical education classes will be taught in a variety of 1-2 week units. Each unit will be tailored for the individual skill level of each grade. The Presidential Physical Fitness and Active Lifestyle Programs have been incorporated into our P.E. curriculum. We also integrate a nutrition and wellness section at all grade levels.

Middle and Lower School students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Grace Athletic Teams. The primary focus of Lower School athletics is to develop the grassroots stage by teaching the basic fundamentals of each individual sport. As students move into Jr. High the training and competitiveness increase in order to prepare student-athletes for High School athletics. Our Athletic staff provides a positive atmosphere that is conducive to learning. They strive towards the maximum athletic and personal development of our student-athletes.
