In an effort to further GES Athletics and help Coach V, the Booster Club is forming three sports committees:
- Boys Soccer (Bill Willson, Wendy Marsh, Lori Williams, Matt Nolan)
- Co-Ed Golf (Tommy Cagle, Myra Tosten, need 1-2 more)
- Co-Ed Tennis (Robin Fincher, Dee Cagle, need 1-2 more)
These committees will be made up of 3 or 4 Grace Parents. The purpose of these committees is to:
- Setup a table at the Sports Roundup.
- Work closely with Coach V during the decision-making process.
- Recruit coaches.
- Recruit players (Sports Roundup, Open House, and other school events).
- Check with area schools to see if we can join or form a league.
- Establish a game and practice schedule.
- Develop a budget.
- Establish a participation fee.
